I’ve done a lot of practice trying out other people’s work with my new found love for watercolor. This piece I put together myself!
- Watercolor paper
- Paint brush
- Crayola watercolors
- Crayola metallic pens
Step 1: Make your universe. I used a circular container to outline a circle. I made my paint very watery to to have the colors blend more. Once you have the look you want, let it dry.
Step 2: Dot in your stars. I used a metallic silver pen for the stars. White paint would work best, but since I didn’t have any I improvised.
Step 3: Add a fun universe quote. My fav book, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, is the quote I used: “We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.”
